家中不可忽视的水灾隐患(上)

近日,受暴雨及洪水的影响,新南威尔士州数十个地方辖区被宣布为灾区。澳大利亚保险理事会(Insurance Council of Australia)宣布新州大部分遭受洪灾打击的地区为灾难状态。保险公司已收到将近12,000项索赔申请,预计损失超过20亿澳币。

对于水灾的风险,可能很多人觉得离自己很遥远。这往往使我们忽视自己家中的“水灾”隐患。这些隐患可能来自于屋顶受损、排水管堵塞、老旧或破损的管道以及日常家用电器,如洗衣机、洗碗机、管道式冰箱和水龙头等。

根据安达保险公司(Chubb Insurance)基于2015-2019年的家庭财产保险理赔数据分析,涉及“水”引起的理赔比例高达34%。

 

“水灾”不仅会对家中的地板、地毯、家具和天花板造成严重的损坏,而且往往会导致业主不得不在维修工作进行期间腾出房屋。而这期间所产生的额外生活费用,在家庭财产保险的赔付范围都非常有限。

我们为您列举了4个家中最容易产生“水灾”的原因:

1,老旧的水软管

通常使用在水龙头,马桶,洗衣机,洗碗机等地方。

2,老旧的家用电器

如洗衣机,洗碗机,冰箱等。

3,屋顶的排水沟

受到散落的树叶,树枝等造成的堵塞。如果遇到降雨天气,堵塞造成的排水不通畅容易导致水倒流从而进入屋中。

4,下水管道

类似于屋顶的排水沟,房屋的下水管道同样容易受到树叶、树枝及树根侵入造成的堵塞。
